Our Startup

AIRFIELD Security (acronym for Artificial Intelligence-based monitoRing of FIELD networks) is a startup born from the research carried out in recent years by the Satellite Communications and Heterogeneous Networking Laboratory (SCNL), which operates within the Department of Naval, Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering (DITEN) at the University of Genoa.

AIRFIELD Security operates in the field of cybersecurity for critical infrastructure. Over the past years, the research group, driven by a strong interdisciplinary approach, has worked on the challenge of securing industrial control networks. Their work has highlighted the need to combine expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and industrial engineering to effectively protect these vital systems.
